Effective January 1, 1999, the transfer station will no longer accept
brush, stumps, logs, stone or mixed fill. These materials can be disposed of
at either County Road Recycling or the Rochester Environmental Park.

Carver / Marion / Wareham Regional Refuse District special permits will be
required for the disposal of refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners.
Permits are available at the Carver Board of Health, Wareham Shellfish and
Harbor Master's office, Rochester Town Hall or the Marion Department of
Public Works. Residents must pick up stickers at their respective towns.
There will be a fee of $15.00 for the disposal of refrigerators, freezers
and air conditioners. Other metal items - i.e. stoves, bicycles and miscellaneous
metals, will be accepted.

Effective January 1,1999, we will no longer accept bulky waste and
demolition debris from pick-up trucks with loads above the pick-up body,
trailers or one-ton dump trucks.

Contractors with demolition or construction debris are restricted to one
load per week with pick-up trucks properly loaded. The maximum length of
construction debris is 4'.

Large demolition projects from contractors may be disposed of at the
Rochester Environmental Park or by container services with ABC, BFI, or
Frades Disposal and County Road Recycling in the spring.

Residential waste and recycling materials from the towns of Rochester,
Carver, and Wareham may be delivered to the regional transfer station, on
Route 28, Cranberry Highway, in Rochester.
