Carver Car 1 is a 2004 GMC Yukon 4 X 4 Command vehicle. It is equipped with communications equipment to communicate with area fire departments. The equipment includes 1 Motorola VHF CDM-1250, 1 Motorola UHF dual head CDM-1250, scanner, front and rear hands free cellular telephones, 2 Acton portable radio battery charges, 750 watt power inverter, laptop computer, color printer / scanner and copier and a Mobile GPS System using Maptech Topographical Software.

Car 1 is equipped with a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, water and ABC fire extinguisher, and various other firefighting and medical equipment. 

Car 1 is also equipped with Whelen's new Patriot light bar, wigwags, Whelen front and rear hide-away strobes, and a Whelen siren system.
