Carver Station 2

Station 2 which is located at 1 Green Street at the intersection of North Main Street (Route 58) was opened in 1987 and is first due in the northern end of  town. This station was built by members of the fire department with the assistance of civilian volunteers using mostly donated building materials. Town meeting unanimously voted to designate this station the "Johnny O Station" in memory of the late Deputy Fire Chief John F. Orzechowski in appreciation of the unselfish, diligent, and tireless work that he performed on behalf of the Carver Fire Department. Currently Engine 2, Brushbreaker 29, and reserve Engine 4 are assigned here.
